Hello everyone out there I am new to this so bear with me. I know its a catchy title randys world. but here where I sit, it is. Just a little about me I am a 47 year old husband, father, and grandfather. I am a conservative . I want to try this, to see if there are other people out there like me that feel or country is politically on the right track for the first time in years (of course i know my brother Barry wont think so lol). I want talk about my family, and my grand kids, and our little piece of heaven in the good old USA. I look foward to my family getting in on this and letting me know what they think and where they stand on things. so here goes( as i push the publish button)

Yes the fierce Connor is my grandson, he's small and tuff a real dynamo. The picture was taken while we where at his Aunt Katies house celebrating the birth of her first child, Jordan Thomas Porcenaluk(soon as i find the right pitutre of him I will post one) and to send her husband Jeff back to Iraq. Jeffrey is in the National Guard and was deployed to Iraq last February. He got a leave so he could be here to see his son born... God bless him and his service to our Country

Another summer has drawn to a close, well for school kids anyway, and those that remember what summer was. Its been a long time since I felt summer meant fun and no school... We did get our flag pole up and our flag out for today and soon i will lite it so we can display it 24/7. Come on

There are many things that can be said for family not piping up and letting the world know their thoughts… I am Randy’s youngest son, and what would have to be considered a “conservative liberal” I can see much of the “left”, but also the “right” I do not think that our country is quite as “on track” and he does, but I must agree that G.W. is our only choose right now, so that is about as far as our agreement goes on politics. I do not have much to say on the subject as I would rather not start a “family feud” since as stated before we do not exactly see eye to eye…

Hi Everyone, Well we should all know what today is! September 11th, its been three years and I wonder if people remember well enough. I think the choice by the media to not show what happened to our country on this day is a mistake, We need to see it everyday to remind the forgetful people about what happened. I think we all forget it was an attack on our way of life, on our very freedom, to be who and what we are as a Nation.
My son in law Jeff is in Iraq right this minute. he there to protect us from elements of a group of men that want to destroy us, our way of life and the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted everyday. He's there to make sure they dont come here, to make sure we never have to fight these terrorist on our soil in our country. I am very proud of him and him fellow soldiers so far from home defending our country and helping the Iraqi people form a new government that gives their people rights and freedoms like we enjoy!

It is funny to me that when we were attacked you saw signs all over the place, saying "God Bless America", and then all of a sudden the people have forgotten, and not only have they forgotten that they asked God to bless this country, but they also forgot to thank Him for sending us a man that wont forget. I almost had my daughter over there, and i do thank God that she did not have to go. I thank God for the lives of the men and women that are there defending our way of life. And I whole heartedly defend the way of life we should be living. The life that is founded in Gods word. This country was founded on Gods word. And if you look at the things that have happened since 9-11. Those liberals have forced the Ten Commandments out of a Government building in Alabama. They continue to try to take in God we Trust off the dollar bill.... makes you wonder"How much longer will God Bless America?"...... Maybe we have already lost that blessing...... Well, I guess it is time I said a few words. I agree with everything you all have said regarding 9/11 and the war in Iraq. Enough about the wmd's. So what if they were never found. We found Saddam didn't we? After all, he killed 300,000 of his own people. I am proud of my grandson Jeffrey, my sisters grandson, Brian, and my younger sisters grandson Shane. They are all fighting in Iraq to make us safe at home.
Also, thank you Randy for the article on Herb, and to all the grandkids who added their comments. I really appreciate them. He had many good points, and some really bad ones, but I don't have much to do anymore now that he's gone.
God Bless our Troops and keep them safe.
